1. What cookies are

Similar technologies include local storage, which works much the same way but is stored by your browser rather than sent back with every request.
2. Our approach
We keep this to a minimum. This site loads no advertising trackers, no social media pixels, no third-party fonts and no external scripts of any kind. Every file the site needs — stylesheets, JavaScript, fonts and images — is served from our own domain. Nothing you do here is shared with an advertising network, because there isn't one.

Strictly necessary cookies are set without consent because the site cannot function correctly without them; this is permitted under Canadian guidance on implied consent. Analytics cookies are set only if you choose "Accept all" on the banner.
4. How to change your choice

5. Managing cookies in your browser
Every major browser lets you view, delete and block cookies, usually under Settings → Privacy. Blocking all cookies will break parts of many websites; on this one, it means the cookie banner will appear on every page, and form validation will still work.
Most browsers also offer a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no agreed standard for honouring it, but we do not track you across other websites in any case.
6. Third-party content
We embed no third-party content — no YouTube players, no map iframes, no social feeds, no web fonts. If we add any in future, this page will be updated before it goes live and the banner will be updated to ask for consent.
Links to Facebook and Instagram in our header and footer are ordinary hyperlinks. Nothing is loaded from those services unless you click through, at which point their own cookie policies apply.
7. Server logs
Our web server keeps standard access logs — IP address, timestamp, requested page, response code and user agent — for security and troubleshooting. These are not cookies and cannot be switched off, as they are a fundamental part of operating a web server. Logs are retained for 30 days and then deleted.
8. Changes
If we change what this site stores on your device, we will update this page and the date at the top, and the consent banner will be shown again so you can make a fresh choice.
